The
animals represent individual's previous evolution and instincts. The divine
beings represent higher consciousness.
Each chakra has its own kshetram,
located on the front surface of the body. And it is easier to concentrate
on that kshetram for a preliminary practitioner. The kshetrams can be
used as reflection of the original chakra trigger points. When we concentrate
on the kshetram, it creates a sensation, which passes through the nerves
to the chakras of spinal cord itself and then that impulse or sensation
reaches to the brain through the nerves of the spinal cord.

On
the physical level the chakras are associated with major nerve plexuses
and endocrine glands in the body. Asanas are designed to work on chakas.
If we concentrate on chakras while performing asana, then the benefit
will be increased.
The chakras are divided into three classes.
Class-I-The lower two chakras(Mooladhar,
Swadhistan) are full of Tamas. The individuals action will be disharmonious,
negativities.
Class-II-Manipur and Anahat are the
two middle chakras, mixture of positive and negative qualities. Here,
the Rajasic quality guides the action and thoughts, which are the combination
of dharma and adharma.
Class-III-Vishuddhi and Ajna, the
two higher chakras are predominantly positive and Sattwic. One tends to
follow dharma.

security, money, material objects, food, friends etc. The karmas of previous
stages of evolution manifest in the form of anger,

*There is a smoky colored Swayambhu Linga,
symbolizing the astral body inside the triangle.
*A serpent, representing the dormant Kundalini(The
spiritual energy) is coiled three and half times around the Lingam.
*The red triangle is supported by an elephant
with seven trunks which symbolize the stability and solidity of earth,
the seven trunks represent to seven Dhatus(Minerals) i.e., Rasa, Rakta,
Mamsh, Meda, Asthi, Majja, Sukra.
For concentration on Mooladhar chakra,
